Open View Inventory

View Inventory is the main current-state view. Use it to answer what you have, where it is, how much remains, its Lot or Container, current status, cost, source, and related history.

For the Oak Creek Goods example, search for a received RM-ALMOND-RU Container, the INT-CHERRYCHOCO-BULK intermediate, or the finished FG-CHERRYCHOCO-8 case. Each view connects the current stock to its Location and to the operational history that created it.

The inventory table

Each row represents the lowest current tracking level for its Item:

• By Item: one Item-level row.
• By Lot: one row per Lot.
• By Lot + Container: one row per Container.

This prevents the same physical quantity from appearing three times at Item, Lot, and Container levels. Search and sorting can use displayed identifiers such as Item Code, name, Lot Code, Container Code, Location, and status.

Detail and summaries

Open a row to review Item and tracking information, quantity and UOM, Lot/Container data, Location, quality status, Unit Cost, source, label information, and related history. Container detail can include Lot and Item summaries; Lot and Item records show the summaries appropriate to their level.

For a Container, the Lot Summary provides context for stock under the same Lot and the Item Summary provides context for the Item across current inventory. Status summaries omit zero-value statuses so the view stays focused on stock that actually exists in that state.

Use Export View to CSV for a downloadable view of the current represented rows. It is useful for spreadsheet work but does not replace live inventory. Reprint an available QR label from detail when needed; reprinting does not create a new record identity. View Inventory is current state. When the question is how the quantity or Location got there, follow its related Inventory History instead.
